Full House
A Full House is the 90 ball bingo game equivalent of a 75 ball blackout pattern, where all numbers on the bingo ticket have been marked rows (referred to as lines) to give 27 squares in total, but because there are only five numbers on each line (leaving four blank squares) a full house only requires players to mark 15 numbers in all.
There are three levels of prizes in a 90 ball bingo game. The lowest prize goes to the first player to make a line (that is, to mark all five numbers in a single row). The next highest prize goes to the first player to make two lines. The top prize goes to the first player to make a full house of all three lines. Whilst most players will call “Bingo” to notify the room hosts that they have won a line or two lines, they are just as likely to call “House” when then have made a full house.
If a bingo room offers a progressive jackpot (that is, one that grows in size with every game played until an eventual winner is found) then this will normally be paid to any player who achieves a full house within a certain number of calls. Generally speaking, the lower the number of calls that are allowed for players to qualify for the progressive jackpot, the less often the jackpot will be won.
Of course, it also follows that the less often the progressive is won, the more the jackpots will be worth when they are eventually paid out. With this fact in mind, some bingo sites have more than one progressive jackpot on offer, with each requiring players to make a full house before a different number of balls have been called. This effectively results in progressive jackpots of different sizes and different payout frequencies, leading many bingo players to describe them as mini, regular or super progressives.
Whether a full house leads to a regular top prize win or a progressive jackpot, 90 ball bingo players are always thrilled to achieve one. They don’t come along every day for every player by any means, so when a bingo player makes a full house it always counts as something special.
