Bingo benefits from the snow

misc BingoFor weeks now we at UK Bingo have been bringing you news about promotions you can play instead of going out in the snow and clearly you have been listening. It would seem that online bingo benefits from the snow with several online bingo sites showing a marked increase in players during the cold snap.

We’re not at all surprised by the news as we in the office have been logging on for a sneaky game instead of having night’s out in the last few weeks and we’re sure that all you UK Bingo players have been feeling exactly the same way.

Online bingo really is booming as bingo players log on in their droves to escape the freezing temperatures outside. Wink Bingo, one of the UK’s most popular bingo sites has reported an increase of a massive 20% in player numbers since the snow started falling and we reckon that’s the same right across the board.

Although some of this success must be credited to Wink Bingo itself who put on some memorable games over the festive period including the Wink Bingo win a mini game, which didn’t play and had to be rescheduled.

The rescheduling meant that a massive 40,000 players in the game and with bingo tickets at £5 each that’s a staggering £200,000 in ticket sales even if each bingo player only bought one ticket. Mini Cooper? Maybe the prize should have been a Porsche Carrera.

Clever marketing from a very clever bingo brand, add cabin fever caused by the bad weather and all of a sudden online bingo is very much back in the spotlight.
