Gala Adopts Sue Ryder Care
The Gala Coral Group which owns and operates popular online Gala Bingo website, has officially adopted Sue Ryder Care as its charity partner for a period of eighteen months. Gala Coral has set a goal of raising at least £1,000,000 for the charity by 2010.
Gala Coral had been considering a number of charitably organisations to adopt, and had whittled the field down to Sue Ryder Care, Diabetes UK, Mencap and Help the Aged. Sue Ryder Care won the votes of staff by “an overwhelming majority”, much to the delight of Sure Ryder Care’s Director of Fundraising.
"All of us at Sue Ryder Care are absolutely thrilled about our new partnership with Gala Coral,” he said in an official statement to the Gala Coral Group. “We believe that our constituencies are the closest possible match, so the relationship has a natural symmetry which will encourage collaboration at all levels. We really do look forward to working with you. Thank you so much for giving us the chance to do so."
Sue Ryder Care is a charity committed to the long term care of people who are living with illness such as Cancer, Stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, Huntingdon’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease and Dementia.
Playing online at Gala Bingo has always been a joy, but the experience will be even more rewarding over the next eighteen months as we know we are doing our part to help an extremely worthy cause.
