The 62 year old lady has asked not to be named but was said to be “shocked and delighted” at her win and “not over the shock yet”. The lucky bingo winner has always played bingo with her Mum at the same club for many years, realised on this occasion that she had two to go and the numbers were the date 27 and 7. I don’t think it’ll be a date she’ll forget in a while as they came out for her that day, making her a massive winner.
This is not the first time a Gala player has scooped a National Bingo Prize, it the second big win for a Coatbridge club after Mum-of-four Soraya Lowell won a world-record bingo prize of almost £1.2 million at another Coatbridge bingo club, making the town very lucky indeed.
This massive bingo win will be one of the last National Bingo prizes to be paid out at Gala Bingo as they have decided to leave the game and replace it with an enhanced version of their High 5 jackpot game, already played at Gala Bingo online.
