PartyGaming Buys Foxy Bingo
The rumours have circulated for weeks now but it’s official, Cashcade – the group behind big names like Foxy Bingo – has been bought by PartyGaming in one of the biggest deals ever seen in internet bingo. The news that PartyGaming are to buy Foxy Bingo will surely send shockwaves through the internet bingo world as two of the biggest names in online gaming come together to create a huge collaboration. What players of Cashcade bingo sites will make of the news is yet to be seen.
Cashcade is the parent company of Foxy Bingo, Think Bingo, BingoScotland, Cheeky Bingo and LittleBig Bingo and is one of the biggest names in internet bingo. The deal is worth a staggering £95.9 million and was officially signed last night in one of the biggest deals ever seen in internet bingo.
As well as operating some of the biggest bingo sites in the UK, Cashcade also operates online casinos such as Foxy Flutter and GetMinted Casino.
PartyGaming’s Chief executive officer said last night that Cashcade will provide them with an excellent platform to build on their share of the $1,5 billion global internet bingo market and the objective is to acquire companies that will put them into the top three position to deliver substantial revenue.
It’s a huge piece of bingo news but if you’re a player at any of the Cashcade bingo sites then don’t worry as in the short term at least this changeover shouldn’t affect you at all, in the long term it may mean some changes but hopefully they will all be for the better as PartyGaming and Cashcade come together to create a formidable force in the internet bingo market.
