Think Bingo changes the rules
Think Bingo was one of the first online bingo sites to launch onto our screens and with just one bingo room, ‘Bernie’s Girls’, the community feel was strong and their bingo forum just made the whole site feel like one big family. Because of that it seemed to make sense to keep the unique factor and this was the reason that Think Bingo only allowed players to play one room at a time but now Think Bingo changes the rules and allows what is termed ‘bingo raiding’ across the site.
Raiding is such a derogatory term and online bingo has moved on so much since it launched onto our screens. It used to be considered bad etiquette to raid rooms as it could cause you to be a winner across several bingo room, bingo players can feel they can’t escape the players buying maximum cards across several bingo rooms. This is why Think Bingo stuck to the no raiding rule, even though every other bingo site allows playing in multiple rooms.
However, for every win the raiders have, they’re also pushing jackpots up in every room and of course no one wins every game so big players mean big money for all. This is why I’ve never understood the no raiding rule and have often felt it causes more problems than it solves. Players can raid, the software allows it and that’s why when players do raid it causes bad feeling across Think Bingo and on their bingo forum.
But no more, as the Think Bingo raiding rule has been lifted, and to a mixed reception too, some players are threatening to look for a new UK bingo site to play at, others are pleased to see the lifting of the rule.
Either way, we think it’s a good, common sense decision by Think Bingo and we’re glad to see the end of this silly rule.
