Woman Stole to pay off bingo debts

Online bingo is great fun, but fun comes in moderation, something one UK Bingo player would have done well to remember. A woman stole to pay off bingo debts and has now found herself in court to face the music. Sujata Chaudhry stole more than £12,000 to replay credit card debts but now her dishonesty has caused up with her.

Sujata Chaudhry ran up a fortune on her credit and debit cards playing online bingo every night from her home. She then stole £12,000 from the NETA training charity in Middlesbrough where she worked to pay off the debt.

Now Teesside Crown Court has ruled that she must pay back the cash within 28 days from an inheritance payment from her dead fathers home after being convinced she had learned her lesson from her addiction.

The case has been put down to boredom, something we’re sure many online bingo players can related to, however as much as online bingo is about the most fun you can have without leaving the house, you do have to be aware that you are only spending what you can afford.

With so many UK Bingo sites offering promotions such as free bingo, penny bingo and BOGOF’s, it really shouldn’t be too hard to play within your means. Have fun, be lucky but remember, it’s just a game and certainly not worth betting the house on!
