Think Bingo
Think Bingo has the claim to fame of being “the UK’s first standalone bingo site”, having been launched in August 2004, and is the founding member of the Think Bingo family of sites (others are Think Bingo Plus and Bingo Scotland). As with all of the sites in this group, Think Bingo is an instant play bingo site which does not require any player to download or install any special software. Simply launch your web browser, log into your Think Bingo account and proceed to play.
You can play both 75 ball and 90 ball games here, and you have a choice of several different bingo rooms, although a couple of these are only open in the evenings and one is only open to VIPs. Fortunately, anyone can become a Think Bingo VIP by joining the online forum, so if you want to play in the VIP room it isn’t difficult to do so. VIPs get extra bonuses when playing, so this is well worth looking into. Tickets range in price from 10p to £1.
The gaming screen here has a pink colour scheme and is well organised. Bingo cards are presented on the left of the display area with the chat interface on the right. Chat users are provided with a selection of emoticon buttons at the bottom of the interface which allow them to include a “smiley” or other emoticon in their text by clicking on the appropriate button. Numbers are called clearly and professionally, but you can mute the sound if you want to by clicking a speaker icon at the top right of the screen.
Think Bingo have a Think Points loyalty scheme which awards points to players whenever they play bingo, win a chat game, win a competition or refer a friend to the site. These points can be collected and then redeemed for cash, so Think Points are certainly worth collecting.
This is a Verisign secured site, so you won’t have to worry about your financial or personal information getting into the wrong hands. Customer service can be obtained by e-mailing support@thinkbingo.com or by calling 0845 226 8585 from within the UK, but do bear in mind that the phone lines are manned from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday, and not 24 hours a day as they are at many other sites.
